Srinagar, May 29 (KNO) : Chairman of Hurriyat Conference Syed Ali Geelani today expressed his deep concern over vandalizing residential houses in Sugan village of south Kashmir’s Shopian district. Geelani on Tuesday blamed Indian occupation forces and their stooges like PDP led coalition for waging war on people, saying their rhetoric about peace and ceasefire stay deflated.

Terming the role of PDP as “filthy, deceitful and sorrowful”, Geelani said, “these people have let loose of terror in nook and corner of state, saying their forces are suffering from frustration and can go to any extent.” “Hurriyat chairman also condemned the brutal forces for their arrogant and immoral attitude. It is highly deplorable that even family members of Zeenat-ul-Islam were thrashed and their property ransacked. “Chopping and damaging fruit trees testify our stand that the men in uniform are rogues and arrogants, Geelani said.

The forces barged into the houses, chopped of the orchards, looted valuables, Geelani blamed occupational forces, saying the recent announcement about ceasefire is mere hoax and just aimed at to hoodwink opinion of international community and recent forces action against civilians testify our claim that despite tall claims about ceasefire people are reeling under martial law like situations.
